Physical Description: The two years of scarce living reads over Peri's body like few others, she is very lean with a surprising amount of arm muscle. Her skin is always tanned and her hair is a dirty blond, though in the summer it nears white. Her face is heart-shaped and angelic in nature with full checks and pouty lips. Her olive coloured eyes are quietly set and the overall appearance of her face tends to make other believe that she is much more innocent than she truly is. She is only about 5'4 which when matched with her features almost tend to make other believe she is a few years younger than she it as well. She dresses her thin frame it what can only be considered an eclectic style, usually taking the clothing she can find and turning them into something she would actually wear.

Personality: Before the outbreak of the Ans Virus although Allison's life was no where near perfect she was happy, friendly and sweet by nature. she she occasionally got in with the wrong crowd and learnt things that were not exactly 'good and wholesome', but she always got herself out of trouble. She never let herself get to that point where she started to question her own integrity. Since the virus she is still the same girl, but with a much looser moral code and the sides of her integrity on some issues have slided back a few feet. When she is blowing glass you can she who she was before the virus as she finds it relaxing and it takes her back to a time where she didn't have any real problems. It is the only thing that makes her feel that way now a days. Now she she speaking she uses her conversational skills to get what she wants and if she is not talking to a fellow River Runner be assured there is always another priority.
Personal History: Allison Sombre was born to Mark Sombre and Jennifer Parks on June 29th, 2001. Two months later her parents were married. They were both just seventeen when Allison was born and there really is no worse way to start off a marriage than to still be in school and be told by your parents to get out. Neither had come from a well to do family, nor had either been exactly 'loved', and so when Allison was conceived and they were told they were on their own they vowed that things would be different. Allison was born in Ocala, Florida an insignificant place in the course of her life, but a starting point none the less. The young new family had gone there as it was the Winter Showing Season in the horse world and with the Season came thousands of jobs. Mark worked day in and day out saving a decent amount of money for his little family. Yet two months later the Season was over and they moved on.

This was how life was from the young Sombre family. With a loan his season in Ocala secured Mark bought a Trailer. They were literally trailer trash, the only advantage was that they moved so often the as Allison was growing up she just never brought anyone home and usually no one was ever the wiser. When she was younger it bothered her that others put her actually happy family down, and tended to get into fights with anyone who said anything about them. However, as she grew up she stopped arguing and altogether stopped trying to explain why she liked living in the trailer, or why she didn't mind moving so often. It was just easier to let others think what they liked. Most of the kids thought she was an army brat, as that explained why she never brought anyone home. Others decided that she was just another new girl in town. Most people never really bothered to ask because she never brought up her family and through moving constantly became the type of conversationalist that steered conversations and made you think that she must have answered a question when in all likeliness she never even acknowledged it.

To this day she tells everyone that she has absolutely no idea what the names of all of the places she has lived are. Whether or not this assertion is true is anyone's guess, but one thing is sure when the Sombre family moved to Sundance, Wyoming in January of 2018 they thought they had finally found 'home'. A home that wouldn't be a there trailer which happened to be on a lot they were renting for the time-being, somewhere they could live and work from years not months. They started renting a three bedroom apartment in the downtown core of Sundance as both her parents had gotten full-time jobs with the Vance Mines. Allison had stopped avoiding telling people where she lived and now proudly brought them back to her place, although she was quick to make sure that she sounded like it was not abnormal at all.

For their first few months in Sundance, live was almost serene for the family of three. Obviously there were ever typical problems and arguments, but in looking back Allison doesn't remember any of them. She remembers only the good times, the time before the Ans Virus changed her entire reality.

The virus came to Sundance just as fast as it did most cities, because the upper-class of the city had purchased the potion for eternal youth. The Sombre family were no where near the first ones to become infected, but that in itself was almost a pity. Being such a tight-knit family who had never been able to rely on anyone but themselves they saw the panic in the city's actions and decided that they would go at it alone. Instead of rushing toward the nearest hospital or camp, they fled the city early on with their trailer. No one came looking for them, because no one really cared if there was a family of three down by the lake; they themselves had bigger problems. So instead of being separated as most of the sick were from the well; Allison watched both of her parents painful die one after the other. Most of the dead were buried in mass graves, but the day after each of her parents' deaths she buried them herself. It was a painful process, but something she will never regret as to this day she knows where they are and going to see them on every holiday or birthday.

Her parents are the only thing that kept her in Sundance, and without them she quickly fell into a way of life that suited her and allowed her to not let anyone to close to her. One day when Allison had gone for a walk to clear her head she had come back to find that both her truck and her trailer were gone. She had been more angry that day than she had ever been in her life, but she had found another type of home that no one seemed interested in. There were all sorts of boats dock in the harbour, but a light weight old house boat had been what had enticed her. Having been poor most of her life, Allison was well aware of what she would and would not be able to afford and she certainly wouldn't afford gas. The was when she met Gypsy Rio a young woman with a plan who had already gotten a small group together of people who were like her. Raised well but raised in a transient lifestyle. The group was called the River Runners and the idea of what they were that he out-lined for her that day made her more than able to join on the spot.

Without her parents she was lost and so the wonderfully kind and stubborn Allison Sombre died with her parents. When she joined the River Runners she started going by the name Peri Winkle (it was her mother's favourite colour and Gypsy Rio said it suited her. Now a days that name is mostly associated with the River Runner who blows glass, but all of the River Runners also know her as one of the best pick pockets and locksmiths they have. The other reputation she has is for being a seductress. Although the term frankly amuses Peri, she doesn't deny that she has told the occasional boy she loved him in order to get a few nice romps and more than a few bartering said of food for a little bit of glass.
